Locheer Shield is specially designed to address the insufficiency of most present medical plans in the market. The benefits provided by Locheer Shield in most cases are greater than most medical packages with similar premium. A guaranteed payment of in-hospital benefit is a definite advantage to clients and is rarely provided in most personal medical plans. The pre-approval guaranteed payment helps to lesser the clients worries when they need in-hospital services.

Guaranteed Hospital Payment

Locheer Shield provides guaranteed admission and hospital payment in most of the private hospitals in HK once the claims have pre-assessed and accepted by the insurance company.
High Medical Expenses Claim Locheer Shield reimburses 100% for most medical expenses incurred. Except the room and board and daily doctor visit, we pay the daily maximum as stated. (Coverage is subjected to maximum benefit of the plan)
No Surgical Table Locheer Shield reimburses 100% surgical fee as charged by the doctor without limitation in surgical classifications. (Coverage is subjected to maximum benefit of the plan)
Convalescence Cash Benefit Locheer Shield take care of the post-hospital expenses of the insured. Convalescence cash is paid to the insured up to a maximum of 30 days of hospital stay.
No Premium Change Locheer Shield charges a fixed premium for an insured and their family member up to age 65 without changes.
High Accidental Coverage Locheer Shield provides a maximum accidental protection up to a maximum HK$300,000 with a renewal bonus up to a maximum of 25% on original coverage.
Extra Bed for Children & Elder Persons Locheer Shield pays extra bed charges for children or elder person in hospital confinement.
Quick Protection after Issue Locheer Shield has a short waiting period of 15 days, while most medical packages in the market requires a 30 days or more waiting period.

Remarks:

1. Eligibility: Insured and Spouse - aged between 18-60; Children - unmarried and unemployed children aged between 1-18 inclusively; or up to age 23 if a full time student.

2. Family coverage includes yourself, your spouse and all your children. You, your spouse and your children are covered 100% of the selected benefits, except in Accidental Death and Permanent Disablement Benefits, each child will only enjoy HK$50,000 of the policy plan.

3. Exclusion:

Any pre-existing conditions, suicide, self inflicted injury, acts of war, service in the armed forces, professional sports, participation in illegal acts, conditions caused by chronic alcoholism or drugs addiction, surgical or treatment of dental or cosmetic purposes, AIDS, pregnancy, childbirth or treatment pertaining to infertility, mental disorders, congenital anomalies, periodic routine check-up, rest cures, riding as an operator or crew member in any aircraft.
